Ghana Under-20 captain Joseph Owusu Bempah insists there is still room for improvement, despite their 2-0 win over South Africa in their opening 2015 Africa Youth Championship in Senegal.

The Black Satellites scored twice in the first half to begin their campaign on a blistering fashion.

Despite the impressive start for the West African powerhouse, the Ghana Under-20 captain is hoping for an improved performance in subsequent matches.

“It is good to get the three points, but there is still room for improvement. It is a good sign to play well and create chances. We hope to continue from there,” he said.

The Ghanaians will next play Zambia on Thursday.

  3. @harry…Nigeria??? U had better bring low all ur false expectations, coz nigeria wil stil tame ghana.

  4. of course @jozzy I’m fully aware dat Nigeria will still destroy us even without d likes of kelechi, nwakali, yahaya, ndidi and co as they are menacing for them to have beaten Nigeria’s best clubs – eyimba and kano pillars. I fear them Dan dis senior counterpart. not to forget dat dis set of players disgrace Ghana in u-17 level before destroying all teams at d world cup two years ago. but anyway Ghana aren’t walkovers
