Peseiro who spoke ahead of Thursday’s friendly match said the top grade friendly like that of Portugal’s is what is needed for the team right now.
He said it was not about playing small teams and winning even though his team desires to beat Portugal, but he wants to play big teams as the Super Eagles team as part of the process to nake the twam better.
“We want to beat Portugal of course, it is not easy, but the strategy now is to play against big national team. For us, this is a process. For you to win the AFCON, you need to play against big teams, against big squad.”
The Portuguese tactician went ahead to urge the fans to trust the process and patient.
