Grassroot: IMO FA completes Hammola Championship final four

All is now set for the semifinal of the 3rd edition of the Hammola Football Championship after IMO FA pipped TSO FC Osogbo to the last semifinal spot, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

IMO FA defeated TSO FC 4-3 on penalties on Friday evening to secure the last semifinal spot to themselves.

With the scores tied at 0-0 after the tournament’s regulation time of 80 minutes, the game went straight into penalty shootout.

With all final four teams now confirmed, the semifinal games will hold on Sunday at the Ido Osun High School pitch.

In the first semifinal, it will be an all Ido Osun affair when host Hammola FC tackle Young Talented FC by 1:45pm while Iwo All Stars will take on IMO FA Iwo in the second semifinal by 3:45pm in the Iwo derby.

The Hammola Football Championship is a grassroot tournament organized by Grassroot Football Coaches Council, Egbedore(GFCCE) and powered by Hammola Global CEO Hon Odeyemi Muhydeen Oladele.
