Ghanaian striker Benjamin Fadi was on target for Mjallby in their 1-1 friendly game against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The former Heart of Lions attacker opened the scoring for the Swedish side with an individual brilliance in the 10th minute before Chris Burke canceled out their lead eight minutes from time.
The Ghanaian picked up a loose ball on the edge of the box, drilling it low into the bottom right corner.
Forest created a host of chances as the pushed to get back on level terms, but Henri Lansbury, Michail Antonio and Nicky Maynard were all denied.
Matthias Asper continued to come under pressure in the home side’s goal early in the second half as the visitors continued to look for the equaliser, but Antonio and Maynard could not get the better of the Mjallby captain.
The English side looked the more likely throughout the second half though, and eventually found the back of the net when Jamie Ward delivered a low cross for Chris Burke to power in at the back post.
