Ghanaian youth international striker Eugene Ansah garnered a brace for KSC Lokeren as they thumped second-tier side OH Leuven 5-2 in a club friendly on Friday evening.
The 20-year-old who is a former youth team player of Liberty Professionals climbed off the bench to join the action in the midway through the second-half at the Daknamstadion in Lokeren.
Leuven, who competed in the Belgian top-flight last season, had cut Lokeren’s lead to 3-2 before the Ghanaian striker entered the fray.
And, he used the opportunity to express his talent upfront by clinically finishing two chances in the 79th and 81st minutes to smoothly hand victory to his side.
Ansah has been on the radar of Ghana’s U20 team and he is set to be included in the preliminary squad for the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup which will come off in New Zealand.
