Atsu top

Ghana legend Sammy Kuffuor has tipped Christian Atsu to win the MVP award at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament following his eye-catching performances for the West African country.

The Chelsea midfielder has thrilled the crowd with his sublime piece of skills and excellent displays which has won him Orange man-of-the-match on two occasions.

Kuffuor, who enjoyed a tremendous 10-year with German giants Bayer Munich, has tipped his compatriot to walk away with the top individual award.

“I think he can win the player of the tournament, why not? He has contributed to the team success, giving great passes, and scoring great goals, I think he can be the player of the tournament,” Kuffour said.

Atsu can, so can Dede or Baba Rahman. I think this is very a close score so the best performer at Sunday’s final of these three will win.
