Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has explained why he left out Ghana defender Baba Rahman from his Chelsea side that faces Arsenal on Saturday in the Ebglish Premier League at the Stamford Bridge.

The for Ream Madrid boss insists that the Ghanaian is not ready for the Premiership hence his decision to leave him out of the side in the London derby.

“Baba is a fantastic player but not yet cut for the premiership. Champions league is different. He did not have preseason with us” Mourinho said.

The Black Stars defender was surprisingly left out of the side which invited a lot of comments from Chelsea faithfuls but the manager believes that the Ghanaian will be used at the right time.

Baba was very instrumental in the side’s 4-0 drubbling of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the EUFA Champions League but the Chelsea manager insists the champions league is different from the premiership.

    So why the fuck did Mourinho and Chelsea pursued Baba all summer if he (mourinho) knew he wasn’t going to give him playing time in the premier league. It his excuse for treating Baba bad which is not necessarily true.
    Why doesn’t he apply the same criteria that Baba didn’t have a preseason with Chelsea to Pedro who was bought after Baba. Pedro has played a lot of premier league matches since he was bought even though he didn’t have any preseason with Chelsea. Bullocks. Is it because he is an African and Pedro is Spanish?
    Fuck you Jose. That is double standard and shame on you for treating Baba this way.

    I’m really Sorry Baba rushed and did not seek for an advise before moving to Chelsea.
    He should have observed what Jose did to Atsu. I knew this will definetly happen; he buys you and hire to loans
    meanwhile Baba and Atsu are far better than most of the current players of Chelsea but May be they are Africans.
    This is a lesson.Our players shouldn’t opte for Chelsea anymore if Jose is still the coach.

    If Baba was chosen as one of the best defenders / player in the Bundesliga (if not the best), then that means he is good enough to play for Chelsea. But for Mourinho’s own biases towards players representing African players in general, he has started saying stupid things like Baba is not ready to play premiership games.
    That is really stupid Mourinho.

    Jose is one of the managers that destroyed a lot of young footballers talent.,i pray that baba find a suitable club.be’cos if baba can stop players like A.robben,Lewandowski,reus,aubameyang,muller and many great players in the german league,then what about those in the premiership.,jose am sorry cos baba is not a homosexual

    I think mourinho is been arrogant for me,why saying baba is not ready in the EPL,what a too known manager I have ever seen,Chelsea is my club,I begin to lose hope, with mourinho and so called ivanovic,I pray baba will shine Amen
