Afriyie Acquah: Ghana AFCON star handed Sampdoria starting role in Serie A clash with Chievo Verona

Ghana international midfielder Afriyie Acquah has been handed a starting role by Sampdoria as they take on Chievo Verona in the Italian Serie A on Sunday evening. 

The 22-year-old Black Stars midfielder has displaced regular starter as he forces his way into a starting role.

This will be Acquah’s first game in Sampdoria colours after joining in the winter transfer window from fellow Serie A side Parma.

Acquah will be making his fourth Serie A debut and manager Sinisa Mihajlovic who had is going for a 4-3-1-2 formation.
