The Confederation of African
Football (CAF) has invited Nigeria and other member associations to submit their bid if they are interested in staging the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
The football body late on Wednesday reopened the bidding process after Guinea was stripped of the hosting right in September.
CAF today sent a notice to the Member Associations to express their interest in hosting the AFCON 2025 including the process that will be followed in the selection of the host country or countries.
CAF informed the interested countries to submit their declaration of interest form on November 11th and the submission of their final bid, including all bidding and hosting documents (hosting agreement, host cities agreement, Government guarantees) must get to CAF on the 16th of November.
They must perfect all their bidding process on the 16th of December before the inspection will arrive in January 2023.
CAF is expected to announce the host country in February 2023.
