Encomiums continue to pour in for former captain of the Nigeria Super Eagles, John Michael ‘Mikel’ Obi(nna) after he called time on active football on Tuesday.
Mikel Obi announced his retirement from football at the age of 35 and since then received glowing tributes for a blistering career.

Captain of the national team, Ahmed Musa is the latest player of the Super Eagles to celebrate his former teammate whom he deputized as captain in the team.

Mikel Obi, a former Chelsea player is the most decorated Nigeria footballer winning two premier League titles, Three FA Cups, one Champions League title, one Europa League, one league title, one African Cup of Nations title and an Olympic Bronze Medal.
