According to the “?Sun, a £12m fee has now agreed between the two clubs and once personal terms are ironed out, the Turkish international is set to join and be handed the Hammers’ number seven shirt.
At 24, Tore is considered one of the brightest prospects in Turkish football and will provide pace, trickery and width to the club’s front line. West Ham are looking to add a number of big names to their squad this summer, and have made no secret of their desire to sign a star forward in recent weeks.
While they’ve had a number of offers for strikers turned down, the Hammers have enjoyed more success in this instance, with Tore expected to join the club officially in the coming days.
Tore spent time in London with Chelsea’s Under-21 side before departing permanently for Besiktas in 2014, after an initial loan spell. Tore took the decision to leave Stamford Bridge after failing to earn a spot in the club’s senior squad, and has excelled for Besiktas in their title winning campaign this season.
