“?West Ham United’s summer spending is set to continue as Sky Sports report they have agreed a £20m fee with Premier League rivals Swansea to sign Andre Ayew.

Ayew only arrived in South Wales last summer on a free transfer, but had an impressive first half of last season and his value has rocketed since. The two clubs have struck an agreement on a fee and Ayew is set to undergo a medical this weekend ahead of the proposed move.

Swansea, however, will only give the deal the green light if and when they manage to complete a deal to sign Ayew’s replacement. The club signed Fernando Llorente on Friday night, and are also looking likely to beat West Bromwich Albion to the signing of Atletico Madrid forward Borja Baston.

With the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres in the Atleti squad already – and now considering the arrival of Kevin Gameiro from Sevilla – Baston is likely to leave the club on a permanent deal and the Swans have the desire to make him Ayew’s replacement.
