Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandez claimed the 4-0 victory his team Portugal, over Nigeria showed they are “capable team with a lot of quality.”
The Manchester United player scored a brace before the halftime whistle at the Estadio Jose Alvapade in Lisbon before Goncalo Ramos and Joao Mario put the game beyond reach.
Fernandez while speaking to media can’t stop going on and on about good his Portugal can be.
“It was a very complete game. We were very capable of having possession of the ball managing the game and taking advantageous our opportunities to score” Fernandez said.
“We also defended very well. We have a capable team, with a lot of quantity, and we demonstrated that on Thursday, in an important step towards gaining confidence.”
Portugal will now have to turn their attention to the World Cup mundial in Qatar where they will take on Ghana in their first game.
