Experience Super Falcons forward Desire Oparanozie will not feature in this year’s WAFCON, Nigeriasoccernet can report.
Oparanozie who plays for Chinese Women’s Super League side Wuhan Jianghan University, will now be replaced by Sweden-based Anam Imo.
Also to miss the tournament is Chiwendu Ihezuo. She has been replaced with experienced midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene.
This development was announced via Nigeria Football Federation’s Twitter handle with no reasons stated for their exclusion.
