Speaking ahead of the quarterfinal tie with Cameroon, head coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, Randy Waldrum said the game will be a difficult match, Nigeriasoccernet.com report.

Nigeria qualified for the quarterfinal after beating Burundi 4-0 in their final group C game on Sunday.

The win set the Super Falcons up against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, a game the coach has described as a difficult one.

“We understand the history between Nigeria and Cameroon. It will be a difficult game and we are looking forward to the game. Changing of venue won’t be any factor, the pitch will be fantastic and the players are also looking forward to the game,” Waldrum said during the post-match conference on Sunday.

Aside qualifying for the semi-final, the winner of the match will also pick one of the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup ticket.
