Smart City will tackle Vandrezzer FC in the first semifinal of the ongoing Value Jet pre season cup today, Thursday 1st September by 3pm, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
Not rated to get this far in the tournament, both Smart City FC and Vandrezzer FC will rekindle their Lagos City rivalry at the Remo Stars stadium for a place in the final of the first edition of the cup.
In the second semifinal, two CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Remo Stars and Kwara United will battle it out for a final spot.
Although Remo Stars playing at home and with the fans behind them looks favorite to pick the ticket for the final but Kwara United with experience Dele Aiyenugba can turn the tides around.
The winners of the semifinal games will face off in the final while the two losers from the round will battle themselves for a third place finish.
