“?Valencia are set to bring a premature end to Simone Zaza’s fruitless spell at West Ham after the Spanish club agreed a deal with Juventus to sign the player, according to “?Goal.
The Italy international, famous for his comically inept attempt at taking a penalty for Italy during Euro 2016, signed for the Hammers on a season-long loan deal in the summer and has failed to make an impact.
Now, with Zaza desperate to leave the Premier League club having been deemed surplus to requirements by Slaven Bilic, Valencia look to be his next destination after, according to Goal’s report, sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch flew out to Turin to complete negotiations.
Simone Zaza’s Premier League season by numbers:
9 appearances
3 take ons
2 shots on target
0 goals
0 assists

The deal would see Valencia take Zaza until the end of the season and buy him permanently if he plays between 10-15 games for them in La Liga. Zaza would cost Valencia around £12 million.
Earlier this week, Bilic confirmed that Zaza would not play for West Ham again as they look to find a solution.
“He is still our player until he goes somewhere but mainly because of the situation with his contract he is finished here,” he said.
On-loan Juventus striker Simone Zaza never wanted to join West Ham, according to his agent.

“Unfortunately we had to judge him on six, seven, eight games which is not a big pattern to judge a player in general.
“He is definitely a good player but like many times in football, it just didn’t happen.”
Zaza’s agent – his father – also claimed sensationally that they never wanted to come to West Ham in the first place: “Now we’re trying to bring Simone back to Italy because he loves this country. We didn’t choose West Ham,” Antonio Zaza said.
