On 08 October 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Kwon Ki-Chang and his wife In-Young Che paid a study visit to the University of Customs and Finance. After obtaining Posvidka, the foreigner is obliged to submit it to International Office (Volodymyr Vernadsky str., Room 234) for registration of the place of residence in Ukraine within three working days. In coding jobs case of expiration of the validity of Posvidka documents for its exchange may be submitted not later than 15 working days before the date of expiration of its validity. In such a case when Posvidka which needs to be exchanged is returned to the person and is turned in at the time of receipt of new Posvidka. Additionally, our students have the opportunity to take part in an internship program in Italy.

• An important event for the University was the establishment of the Ukrainian-Polish Center (UPC) in 2007.
• Foreign citizens, who do not speak Ukrainian, shall be accepted to Preparatory Department for Foreigners and Stateless Persons for preparation for entering into higher educational establishments of Ukraine.
• International Relations Department will examine your documents and assess if the applicant’s grades are sufficient for a study of the major chosen at the faculty selected.
• Since 2019 until the start of the war, the Center had been offering Arabic language and culture courses under the guidance of an experienced teacher and professional translator, Ms Neemeh Itual Hassan, with classes held in a friendly, warm and interesting atmosphere.
• About 40 participants from University interested in new opportunities for cooperation with European joined the webinar.
• One of the two specialised higher education institutions in Ukraine, engaged in the training and retraining of specialists in the field of customs affairs.

• Dr. Mikuriya made several recommendations for the post-war recovery of Customs in Ukraine, based on the concept of “Fragile Borders” that the WCO has developed.
• The University of Customs and Finance is a unique university in the sphere of training and retraining of specialists of custom services, specialists of international activity, custom brokers etc.

• Such foreigners are obliged to provide the International Office with a passport and documents necessary to apply for a posvidka within five working days upon arrival to the University, but not later than 30 days before the expiry of the established period of stay in Ukraine.
• The discussion platform attracted local and international participants from Customs administrations and academia and provided support and shared experience for the recovery of Ukraine Customs.

In September 2018, a branch of the international volunteer organization “HWARANG-UCF” was established at the UMSF, which opened up wide opportunities for participation in trainings, seminars, conferences, and competitions of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine.
