Emmanuel Dennis was out of action on Friday night when Watford pipped Burnley by a lone goal at the Vicarage Road. This was due to his ongoing medicals at Nottingham Forest, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
As announced by popular Italian journalist Romano Fabrizio:
“Emmanuel Dennis has completed the medical tests with Nottingham Forest few minutes ago. He’s gonna sign a four year deal with NFFC.
“Fee agreed with Watford and deal set to be completed.”
Also confirming the story is Watford’s coach Rob Edwards who told Sky Sports the reason for Dennis absence on Friday is clear:
“It’s progressing. I said in the media on Thursday that everyone who we picked in the squad tonight would be fully focused and with us, and so that one’s progressing.”
Both clubs were in the final stages of the deal on Friday afternoon, as personal terms between Nottingham Forest and Dennis have been agreed upon.
Belgium side Club Brugge will take 5% of the fee on their former striker who scored 10 EPL goals for the Hornets last season.
