Victor Osimhen’s transfer to any of the big spending English Premier League
(EPL) clubs in the summer has assumed a new dimension with claims that Napoli has shortlisted English International striker Tammy Abraham as a possible replacement for the Nigerian ace.
Napoli have already started making preparations for his departure by putting Roma forward Abraham on their shortlist.
The 11-time England international has scored 35 goals since leaving London for the Italian capital two years ago.
The Club Official believed Abraham would likely jump at the chance to join Napoli in the defence of their soon to be title holders despite strong interest from Aston Villa coach.
But According to an Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport :“Osimhen has developed a unique and emotional bond with the city of Naples,
especially considering how the city was euphoric after the win over Juventus at the weekend. His daughter was born in Naples and that has only increased his love for the city.
“This has increased the possibility of him staying at Napoli, with the player currently embroiled in the joy of the upcoming Scudetto win
and his agent Roberto Calenda also happy to see him enjoy the moments. But Napoli have no intention of letting Osimhen leave unless a huge offer comes around
