Tolu Arokodare scores in Genk big win over Gent

Tolu Arokodare made it four goals in six games as he scored in KRC Genk’s big win over KAA Gent in the first of ten finals in the Champions’ Play-offs in the Belgian Professional Football League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Arokodare scored the second goal of the encounter as the blue and white giants won 4-0 at the Cegeka Arena on Sunday.

Konstantinos Karetsas opened the score in the 38th minute to set the ball rolling as the first half ended 1-0.

Nigeria’s red-hot striker doubled the lead 50 minutes before South Korea’s Oh Hyeon-gyu who replaced Tolu in the 71st minutes cemented the win with a brace in the 88th and 90 plus minutes.

Tolu Arokodare is the current top scorer in the Belgian Jupiler League with 18 goals and five assists in 31 matches.
