The Ladan Bosso boys trashed the Jos side 5-0 at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’ and new boy Ba’akaka Aji from El Kanemi Warriors scored a brace with midfielder Samson Lawal also hitting target.
Skylink FC put up a spirited fight, but still went down 2-0 going into the break.
A piece of cheering news for the Flying Eagles is that injury-hit star midfielder Daniel Daga was introduced in the second half of this encounter.
He looked nimble and fit even though he had a heavy strapping on the right knee.
Daga suffered a knee injury during the team’s opening U20 AFCON group game against Senegal and has not played a competitive game ever since.
With about a week to their departure to Argentina, coach Ladan Bosso lined up the bulk of the squad who featured at the U20 AFCON in Egypt.
The Flying Eagles will play a second test game tomorrow at the Goal Project.
Kick-off time is 12pm.
