Tella celebrates maiden Champions League goal with Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen winger Nathan Tella has taken to social media to celebrate his first-ever UEFA Champions League goal, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria international scored in the 64th minute of Leverkusen’s 2-0 victory over Sparta Prague on Wednesday night, helping Xabi Alonso’s side qualify for the Round of 16.

Tella’s achievement is all the more remarkable given that he was playing in England’s second tier just two years ago.
