Granada CF ace Uche Agbo has backed Barcelona B new signing Ezekiel Bassey to prove himself in Spain.
Enyimba forward Bassey has agreed a loan deal till the end of the season with Barcelona’s second team.
And compatriot Agbo, who has been in Spain for the past four years, said the CHAN Eagles star will make the grade at Barca.
“I have followed him and he is a good player. He played for one of the top clubs in Nigeria and his transfer to Spain will improve him,” said Agbo, whose last Nigerian club were Enyimba.
“His time at Enyimba will certainly prepare him to life in Europe.
“The secret to success is hard work and as long as he does that, he will make the grade in Spain.
“I hope to soon talk to him and welcome him to Spain.”
