Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli could be in line for a move to Serie A club Lazio, according to Italian website “?Il Messaggero.

The striker spent the 2015/16 season on loan at fellow Italian top flight side AC Milan, but the 18-times league champions are not thought to be keen on signing him on a permanent basis.
The 33-times capped Italy international is not expected to feature in Reds manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans at Anfield either, and is likely to move away from the Barclays Premier League once more in search of regular first team football.
World renowned football agent Mino Raiola, however, is believed to be lining up a move for his client that would see Balotelli join the Roma-based side instead.
Raiola, who boasts footballing stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku among his clientele, believes he can persuade I Biancazzurri to agree to sign Balotelli, despite their financial concerns about the 25-year-old’s wage demands.
The 48-year-old Italian-Dutch agent, though, is thought to be arranging a worthwhile package that could lead to Lazio agreeing to bring the nomadic forward to the Stadio Olimpico.
Balotelli originally signed for Liverpool from AC Milan for a fee thought to be in the region of £15m in the summer of 2014, with then-manager Brendan Rodgers looking to replace the goals of the Barcelona-bound Luis Suarez.
However, the striker struggled to impose himself at Anfield – scoring just four goals in 28 appearances in all competitions – and was loaned back to the San Siro-based outfit 12 months later.
Despite returning to I Rossoneri, Balotelli found the back of the net on just three occasions throughout the last campaign as Milan finished in seventh position with 63 points from 38 league outings.
Balotelli has scored 68 goals in 192 club appearances since making his first-team debut back in April 2006 for Serie C1 side Lumezzane.
