Suning Commerce Group are close to purchasing approximately 60-70% of Serie A side Inter.
The Chinese consortium have long been rumoured to be interested in buying a minority stake but reports today suggest that majority ownership will now be changing hands.
According to SportMediaset, Suning will purchase one-fifth of the club immediately and will claim the remaining amount in November.
Honorary president Massimo Moratti is reportedly prepared to relinquish his 30% in order to make a deal happen while current boss Erick Thohir would maintain a minority holding and assume the title that Moratti now holds.
Suning are expected for fork over a grand total of between €600m-€700m, before investing heavily into the club.
