“?Sunderland have officially completed the signing of young Manchester United pair Paddy McNair and Donald Love for a combined fee of £5.5m as new manager David Moyes makes a third defensive addition in the space of the last week.
McNair, a Northern Ireland international centre-back, and Love, a Scotland Under-21 international right-back, have each put pen to paper on four-year deals that will keep them at the Stadium of Light until 2020. Both players are currently 21 years of age.

“I want to add some young players to the squad as well as some senior players and both of them have got really good potential and the opportunity to improve,” Moyes told SAFC.com.
“I want to bring in players who are here for the long-term as well as the short and hopefully these two are here for the long-term.”

Specifically on McNair, he added, “Paddy is a young, athletic player who is improving all the time. He has experience for Northern Ireland and we want to bring as many international players to the club as we can.”
While on Love, the boss said, “Donald comes highly recommended and is another young player who I hope can develop and improve here.”
