Kingsley Coman has expressed a desire to stay at Bayern Munich as the French winger moves closer to securing a second season on loan at the German giants.

Coman impressed while on loan at the Allianz Arena last season and although he is still technically a Juventus player, he has made it clear his preference is to stay with the Bundesliga champions for the foreseeable future. “?

Coman told Kicker: “I would like to stay, It was one of my goals when I arrived here that I will play here for longer [than the two years].”

It will cost Bayern £18m to keep Coman at the club until April 2017, but CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said it is highly probable that he will turn out for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

“Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world and I want to play many, many years here,” Coman added.

“I see myself here for many years, even if you never know exactly how these years will run. It was a wonderful year. It was my first season in which I played a lot.

“This year has brought me forward in every case. I have made a great progress and it was a very good decision to move to Bayern.’

Coman enjoyed an excellent campaign at club level but experienced his first feeling of true footballing agony after France missed out on winning Euro 2016.

“It was a depressing feeling to lose because the chance to become European champions playing in our own country will probably never come back to me.”
