Italian Serie A side Udinese have confirmed the injury to Nigeria international, Isaac Success after their 3-0 win over Cremonese, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Success had an impressive game over the weekend and also scored one of the three goals before picking up the injury.
His coach, Andrea Sottil was full of praise for him but also gave away his injury concern after the game.
“Success sacrifices himself for everyone, he takes a lot of free kicks, he deserved this goal and I’m really sorry for his injury.” Scotti said.
Udinese yesterday have now confirmed Scotti’s fear after Success visited the medics.
“Udinese Calcio announces that the player Isaac Success , following the tests carried out, reported a muscle injury to the rectus femoris of the right thigh,” reads a statement on the club’s website.
The forward is now expected to miss Udinese’s trip to Leece this weekend.
He is also doubtful for the home clash against Napoli on May 2.
