The NPFL match-day 35 fixture between El-Kanemi Warriors and Heartland will now be played on Saturday, September 17.
The game was originally scheduled to take place last Saturday but was shifted to Thursday, September 15, due to flight booking mix-up. The Thursday date was truncated by the auto accident which left five Heartland players injured.
The Naze Millionaires now have until Friday, September 16 to replace the injured players who have been declared unfit to feature in the match.
Heartland, one of the most successful sides in the history of the Nigeria Professional Football League sit in the 18th position in the table and need a win in the game against El-kanemi to revive their hopes of escaping relegation, while the hosts will also look to secure maximum points in order not to be dragged into the relegation fight.
