Fellow Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has hailed skipper Asamoah Gyan’s move to Shanghai SIPG after the 29 year old sealed the move earlier this week.
Gyan, continues to dominate the headlines after giving up a comfortable stay in the UAE league where he won three goal king gongs and led Al Ain to the semi-final stage in the Asian Champions League.
The former Sunderland striker is reported to have broken the Asian transfer fee with SIPG having to cough up EURO20m to secure the signature of the Ghanaian.
Samuel Inkoom who plays alongside Gyan in the national team hailed the impact of the 29 year old and wished him the best going forward.
“Another great move for my brother and skipper Asamoah Gyan,’ Inkoom said
“I have no doubt you will do well and I am proud of you.”
Gyan is expected to be unveiled by Shanghai SIPG early next week.
