Nigeria international Umar Sadiq has claimed the LaLiga Goal of the Month award for March, following a stunning strike in Valencia’s 3-3 draw with Osasuna, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Sadiq’s sublime flick, which capped off a thrilling encounter, garnered the most votes to secure the accolade.
The 28-year-old forward netted a brace for Los Che, with his first goal arriving in the 32nd minute.
He then sealed his second with a masterful flick past the Osasuna goalkeeper three minutes from time.
Since joining Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad in January, Sadiq has scored five goals for Carlos Corberán’s side, showcasing his clinical finishing ability.
