As Rwanda gears up for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Nigeria, team captain Djidro Aradutumira has outlined their strategy to secure victory, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The Amavubi will face the Super Eagles at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Matchday 5 of the qualifiers. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Aradutumira stressed their determination to execute the coach’s tactical plan and secure all three points.
“We have played Nigeria twice already, so there’s nothing to be overly concerned about, even though they have the strongest attacking lineup in Africa. As players, our focus is on containing them,” he stated.
The Rwandan skipper further emphasized the importance of discipline and capitalizing on their chances.
“We will stick to our coach’s instructions, take our chances, and hopefully come away with a win.”
Nigeria, boasting a squad filled with top attacking talents, will be looking to solidify their position in the qualifiers, while Rwanda hopes to pull off a major upset in front of their home fans.
