Former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses was on the score sheet as Spartak Moscow defeated Krasnodar 4:1 away from home, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Moses was reportedly on the brink of leaving the club before the start of the season but all the controversies surrounding his exit has been forgotten with the player showing his class on the pitch of play.
Zobnin opened the scoring for the visitors in the 35th minute. Promes doubled the visitor’s advantage in the 46th minute.
Borodin’s own goal in the 53rd minute puts the game beyond the reach of the host, although Spertsyan reduced the deficit for them when he notched his first of the season from the penalty spot in the 60th minute, Victor Moses killed any hope of comeback when he restored Spartak’s 3 goals lead 7 minutes away from full time.
This is the second consecutive time the former Chelsea player will be on the score sheet for Spartak this season.
With two games played this season in the Russian topflight division, Spartak are two points behind leaders CSKA Moscow who have recorded two wins from two games.
