Remo Stars coach, Daniel Ogunmode has assured his team’s followers of a better performance even as he look forward to the resumption of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Ikenne club suffered a shocking defeat in the state FA cup to the hands of their U-19 team, Beyond Limits Football Academy, 3-2 in the quarter-final.
Ogunmodede while speaking to Daily Post reckoned that his team would get better with more games and also challenge for the title.
“We are working on the weak areas in our team ahead of the start of the second half of the season,” Ogunmodede said.
“I have no doubt we will come stronger. The Federation Cup ouster is an eye-opener for us,” he added.
The Sky Blue Stars will host Nasarawa United when the NPFL resumes on March 26.
