The shot-stopper has previously been part of the home-based Super Eagles side, helping them qualify for the 2024 African Nations Championship.
Bankole alongside captain Ahmed Musa (Kano Pillars) Ifeayin Onyebuchi (Rangers) and Papa Daniel Mustapha (Niger Tornadoes) are only four players from the Nigeria Premier Football League.
