Ibom Angels got the highest win thrashing Sporting Angels 17-0 at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba following six goals by captain Abasofion Uwah.
Ugobest Osuji scored as early as the 6th minute of play before Onweagba’s double in the 19th and 23rd minutes.
It became 4-0 courtesy of the captain Uwah in the 33rd minute before she scored her second five minutes later.
The score became half a dozen, and Ayishat Raheem scored the sixth goal three minutes before the end of the first half.
In the second, Eyitemi Omogbami continued the scoring spree after three minutes into the half. Uwah completed her hattrick on 51 minutes before scoring her fourth and Ibom Angels’ ninth goal of the day on 54 minutes.
Raheem scored her second on 62 minutes as goals in the 74th and 77th minutes by Onweagba made it 12-0.
Captain Uwah scored two more goals in the 88 minutes and 90 minutes to make it 14-0 before late goals by Onweagba and 2 from Victory Jacob completed the rout.
