Alex Iwobi was in action as Everton went down to a 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa at the Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.
Iwobi was in action for 90 minutes in the thrilling encounter.
The Nigeria international has now featured for 120 minutes in Everton’s two Premier League games this season.
Danny Ings hammered home from inside the area in the 31st minute after controlling and turning nicely.
The hosts waited until the 87th minute before doubling their lead through Emiliano Buendia.
Buendia slotted the ball home from close range from Ollie Watkins’ low cross.
An instant response from Everton set up a tense finale. A great run from Amadou Onana was followed by a cross which was turned into his own net by Lucas Digne.
