Chelsea and Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing 17-year old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma following AC Milan’s reluctance to meet his contractual demands.
“?
“?The young shot-stopper’s agent Mino Raiola has informed the club that his client wants a staggering £165k-a-week to make him one of the highest paid players in his position in world football.
“?Contract talks have since stalled whilst a Chinese takeover of the club is being completed, leading to uncertainties over the club’s future.
“?
“?His current contract was signed in 2015, and was the youngster’s first professional contract, but the player hopes to extend his contract for another four years with this agreement

Donnarumma has made an impressive start to his career, already making 50 appearances since 2015 and becoming Milan’s first-choice keeper in the process. He is the youngest goalkeeper to ever play for Italy, already making two appearances for the national side.
“?
“?Juventus are also considering him as a long-term replacement for 38-year old legendary keeper Gianluigi Buffon for when he eventually retires.
“?
“?Additionally the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United would be willing to bring the keeper to the Premier League as a back-up option to Thibaut Courtois and David de Gea.
Real Madrid are said to be monitoring Thibaut Courtois’ performances in the Premier League, as Asmir Begovic has been the subject of interest from Bournemouth.
“?
“?Manchester United will most likely lose Sergio Romero in the summer, which means that both teams may need reinforcements in the goalkeeping department.
“?
“?However, the keeper would only arrive if he is promised first-team football, which would be unlikely if the clubs’ first-choice keepers are not sold.
“?
“?Milan are nonetheless confident that they will reach an agreement with the player once the Chinese consortium has completed its takeover over the club
