Julian Draxler may be allowed to leave Wolfsburg after the club’s sporting director, Klaus Ollofs, admitted they would be willing to reconsider their stance on the 23-year-old’s availability.
Draxler has long been linked with a move to Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal, but both have so far been unsuccessful in their pursuit of the player.
The winger was expected to leave Wolfsburg after impressing during Euro 2016, but despite interest from a number of European clubs, Ollofs refused to let him leave.

However in an interview with German media outlet Sport1, the sporting director now appears to have changed his stance and says that the club would consider potential offers for Draxler.
Ollofs said: “We’d evaluate it differently now and maybe give our approval the next time.
“The story (in the summer) did not help him, and it did not help VfL.”
Draxler is currently under contract at the German club until 2020 and his buyout clause is understood to be in the region of €75m. Potential buyers may be slightly less interested in meeting that price however, as the 23-year-old has struggled for form so far this season.
He was left out of the German squad for the recent international fixtures and his misery was compounded when he was also omitted from the Wolfsburg team, for their 1-0 defeat to Schalke in the Bundesliga last weekend
Draxler has made a total of nine appearances for his club so far this season, but has failed to register a single goal or assist and faces a fight to win back his place in Wolfsburg’s first team.
