Sevilla head coach Garcia Pimienta is hopeful that midfielder Jerome Adams will return to action before the end of the season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Adams sustained a thigh injury in Sevilla’s defeat to Atletico Madrid last weekend and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
“I feel really bad for Adams and Rubén. It looks like they’ll be out for several weeks, and we’ll see whether they make it back in time for the end of the season; it all depends on how they progress,” Pimienta said.
The 25-year-old Nigerian international joined Sevilla from Montpellier in January but has struggled with injuries, limiting him to just four appearances for the LaLiga club.
