Super Falcons of Nigeria striker, Asisat Oshoala, has been invited for next month’s friendly game against the Japanese women’s national team.
Oshoala last featured for Nigeria at the Women African Cup of Nations in the opening match of the group where she sustained a knee injury.
Amongst those invited with Oshoala are Chiamaka Nnadozie, Ashleigh Plumtre, Halimatu Ayinde and Rasheedat Ajibade. The date for the game has been fixed for the 6th of October, 2022.
The games are expected to prepare the Super Falcons for the forthcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup expected to take place in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
