Olivier Giroud has named the Frenchman he would most like to see join him at the Emirates, and made an honest revelation about his incredible scorpion kick goal against Crystal Palace earlier this month.
Asked by Copa 90 which of his international teammates he would most like to link up with for club as well as country, the Gunners forward immediately named Antoine Griezmann – leaving fans to dream of what could be after the two played off each other superbly for France during Euro 2016.
The 30-year-old was also quizzed whether or not he meant his scorpion goal kick goal against Crystal Palace; a contender for goal of the season on New Year’s Day.
The Arsenal man answered that he did mean to make contact with ball with his heel, but admitted that he was rather lucky for it to have to gone into the back of Wayne Hennessey’s net.

The goal created a lot of debate between Manchester United and Arsenal fans over who performed the difficult technique better, Henrikh Mkhitaryan or Olivier Giroud.
Arséne Wenger has found himself praising Giroud on numerous occasions this season as the centre forward has been in fantastic form, scoring crucial goals against Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Bournemouth and Preston North End.
The striker extended his contract until 2020 last week and admitted recently that he’s hpoing teammates Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez follow suit in the coming weeks or months.
“I really wanted to sign another contract with Arsenal,” he said, “and we all hope they will do the same. Hopefully they will do it soon but I don’t know what they want and it’s up to the players to make their decisions.”?
