With 10 days until Fulham bring Premier League action back to Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace put themselves through a competitive warmup.
The Eagles displayed character as they came from behind to defeat Spanish side Real Valladolid, 2-1 with Widfred Zaha getting a brace.
The win can not be talked about without the incomparable contribution of the Nigerian Eberechi and Micheal Olise with the later being fouled in the box after getting past two Valladolid defenders before Zaha converted the spot kick to give Palace win.
Olise tried to get on the scoresheet after a pass from Zaha but his cross-goal effort deflects off the post.
And when both Nigerians were taken off, David Ozoh another Nigerian but this time a player from the academy replaced Olise in the dying minutes of the tie.
