The last has certainly not been heard about how a former NFF secretary general enslaved Nigeria league leading scorer Afolabi Okiki after more stinking revelations emerged that he was paid a combined total of four million Naira as loan fees on the striker.
A further breakdown of the loan fees showed the football top shot got two million Naira for two seasons from Shooting Stars and another two million Naira from Sunshine Stars for the same player.
AfricanFootball.com further learnt that Okiki did not benefit financially from any of these transactions.
“Baba pocketed all the loan fees on Okiki,” a source close to the 13-goal striker revealed.
“The player got nothing from all these transactions. He will only give the boys stipends when he begged him, like in December when he had a serious family problem and Sunshine did not pay him, he went to Baba, who gave him 10,000 Naira.
“Tell me, how wicked, callous and heartless can a man be?”
“Baba should forget the boy because he will not get a Kobo from his transfer overseas. He is free from the big man’s clutches and he along with Nigeria U23 winger Tiongoli Tonbara and another Nigerian player Okpako cannot wait to get their careers started in Argentina,” he added.
“Okiki is very excited with his new opportunity in life, free at last from bondage, and no form of blackmail will see him back to the hell he was in Nigeria.”
