Ojediran moves to Hungary after missing out on Flying Eagles U20 AFCON squad
Ojediran on loan to Hungary
Midfielder Hamzat Ojediran, who missed the Flying Eagles final squad to the U20 AFCON, has joined Hungarian club Debrecen on loan from KF Egnatia of Albania.
The Hungarian club announced the transfer
Debrecen are fifth in the top Hungarian league with 27 points from 19 matches, just two points below the bracket for qualification to European club football.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder trained with the Flying Eagles in Abuja preparatory to the U20 AFCON in Egypt but did not make the final cut.
He featured for Nigeria at the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
