Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has signed a two-year deal with Turkish club Genclerbirligi, bringing an end to his spell without a club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 28-year-old, who last played for Greek side Aris, had been without a team for the entire 2023/24 season.
Etebo has previously played for clubs in Portugal and England, and had a stint in Turkey with Galatasaray.
Genclerbirligi have secured Etebo’s services on a permanent transfer, bolstering their midfield options ahead of the new season.
The Red and Black in it long statement welcome the Beijing 2008 silver medalist writing on its X platform “We welcome Oghenekaro Peter Etebo to our family and wish him success in the red-black jersey.”

The move marks a fresh start for the versatile midfielder, who will look to make an impact in Turkey once again.
