NPFL: Shooting Stars Players Pass Medicals for new NPFL Season

The players of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have completed their medicals ahead of the 2022/23 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL),

The management of the Oluyole Warriors ensured all its players took part in the mandatory test, which is one of the criteria for registration. The exercise was successfully carried out in a hospital in Ibadan.

Speaking after the medical test, the Chairman of the Ibadan soccer lords, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, expressed satisfaction with the completion of the exercise, stressing that the club was doing everything possible to be ready for the new season.

“We just completed the medical tests for all our players as one of the mandatory criteria for registration.

“You would recall that we have been busy on the pitch playing pre-season matches, we are equally putting everything together off the pitch to meet up with the registration procedures,” stated the 3SC boss.

Shooting Stars finished 16th in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season, narrowly avoiding relegation on goal difference.
