NPFL Chairman confident of successful 2024/25 season conclusion

Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Gbenga Elegbeleye, has expressed optimism that the 2024/25 season will conclude successfully and in line with international best practices, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

Speaking in an interview on Eagles7 Radio in Abeokuta, Elegbeleye commended the progress recorded so far and reaffirmed the league’s commitment to professionalism and global standards.

“We are close to completing the season. We started in August and will wrap up in May, which aligns with the global football calendar,” he stated.

He further emphasized the NPFL’s firm stance on transparency and discipline, highlighting a zero-tolerance approach to malpractice as a key component of the league’s strategic direction.
