This was disclosed by the Managing Director of the company Mr. Chika Ikenga when he paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club at the club’s corporate office in Umuahia.
Mr. Ikenga while speaking with Abia Warriors Media let lid on their intentions to support Abia Warriors’ social responsibility drive, and also disclosed why Eunisell became the club’s shirt sponsor, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
“We will see how we can align ourselves and how we can also invite our people to partner with Abia Warriors”.
“We like football, we like to support football, we like to support the growth of football in Nigeria, we just find that Abia Warriors needs our support. We have done some to other teams in the past, we find we needed to bring it closer home”.
The Eunisell Managing Director also noted that football is a unifying factor and a sport of great importance amongst our people, he therefore encouraged other corporate organizations to support football brands as it brings immense benefits.
“(The) thing is that football is very important, it brings us together as one people, and it also project our image, we sponsoring Abia Warrior, it gets some benefits in line of social responsibility in times of marketing awareness, so we like others to benefit also ”.
The Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club Coach John Obuh who was delighted to host the Eunisell Chief Executive thanked him for the August visit and presented him with Abia Warriors replica home jersey.
